TradeIt, Inc. ("TradeIt", "the Services", "We", "Us" or "Our") knows you care about your Personal Information and takes your privacy seriously. This Privacy Policy applies to, the TradeIt widget and the mobile website owned and operated by TradeIt, Inc., and describes how we collect, store and use the information you provide us. It also describes the choices available to you regarding our use of your Personal Information and how you can access and update this information. By using or accessing the Services in any manner you acknowledge that you accept the practices and policies outlined here, and you consent to our collection, storage and use of your information.

This Privacy Policy also covers our collection, use and disclosure of Personal Information that we collect through the TradeIt API and TradeIt Developer Portal. The use of information collected through our Services is limited to the purpose of providing the service for which our client has engaged TradeIt.

What does this Privacy Policy cover?

This Privacy Policy covers our treatment of personally identifiable information ("Personal Information") and other information that we gather when you are visiting, accessing or using our Services. This policy does not apply to the practices of companies we don't own or control, including the third-party brokers accessed through our Services, or of people that we don't manage. What Information does TradeIt Collect?

We gather various types of personal offline information from our users, as explained in more detail below, and we use this information in connection with our Services, including to personalize, provide, and improve our services, to contact you and allow other users to contact you, to fulfill your requests for certain products and services, and to analyze how you use the Services. In certain cases, we may also share some information with third parties.

Registration Information

When you register with us we will request information such as your name, email address, and other identifying information offline. We will store and use that information in accordance with your use of the Service.

Third Party Credentials and Information

Your log-in credentials for your third party broker accounts are stored by us for a reasonable amount of time to allow for your continued use; this information is encrypted in transit. We do not associate your broker log-in credentials with other information collected from you. Please also note we act only as a facilitator to your broker accounts. Any information used or collected on those sites is governed by their privacy policies and are subject to their terms of service.

Information Collected Automatically

Technologies such as cookies, beacons, tags and scripts are used by TradeIt, Inc and our third party brokerage partners, affiliates, analytics partners, advertising and other services. These technologies are used for things like analyzing trends, administering the website, advertising performance, tracking users' movements around the website and to gather demographic information about our user base as a whole. We may receive reports based on the use of these technologies by these companies on an individual as well as aggregated basis.

As is true of most websites, we gather certain information automatically and store it in log files. This information may include internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, internet service provider (ISP), referring/exit pages, operating system, date/time stamp, and/or clickstream data.

We may combine this automatically collected log information with other information we collect about you. We do this to improve services we offer you, and to improve analytics and site functionality.

Whenever you interact with our Services, we automatically receive and record information on our server logs from your browser or device, which may include the identity of any third party broker that you interact with through the Services, information regarding the orders that you place through the Services, your IP address, device identification, "cookie" information, the type of browser and/or device you're using to access our Services, and the page or feature you requested. "Cookies" are identifiers we transfer to your browser or device that allow us to recognize your browser or device and tell us how and when pages and features in our Services are visited and by how many people. Will TradeIt Share Personal Information it Receives?

We may share your Personal Information with third parties as described. We may also provide aggregate usage information to our partners, who may use such information to understand how often and in what ways people use our Services, so that they, too, can provide you with an optimal online experience. Affiliated Businesses

In certain situations, affiliated businesses or third party websites may sell or provide products or services to you through or in connection with the Services (either alone or jointly with us). We will share your Personal Information with that affiliated business only to the extent that it is related to such transaction or service. We have no control over the policies and practices of third party websites or businesses as to privacy or anything else, so if you choose to take part in any transaction or service relating to an affiliated website or business, please review all such business' or websites' policies.


We employ other companies and people to perform tasks on our behalf and need to share your information with them to provide products or services to you, such as sending you the TradeIt newsletter, or triaging a customer issue with a TradeIt vetted partner and/or approved broker. Unless we tell you differently, our agents do not have any right to use the Personal Information we share with them beyond what is necessary to assist us.

Business Transfers

We may choose to buy or sell assets, and may share and/or transfer customer information in connection with the evaluation of and entry into such transactions. Also, if we (or our assets) are acquired, or if we go out of business, enter bankruptcy, or go through some other change of control, Personal Information could be one of the assets transferred to or acquired by a third party. Protection of TradeIt and Others

In certain situations, we may be required to disclose personal data in response to lawful requests by public authorities, including to meet national security or law enforcement requirements. Is Personal Information about me secure?

The security of your Personal Information is important to us. We follow generally accepted standards to protect the Personal Information submitted to us, both during transmission and once we receive it. You must prevent unauthorized access to your own brokerage accounts and Personal Information by selecting and protecting your password and/or other sign-on mechanisms appropriately and limiting access to your computer or device and browser by signing off after you have finished accessing your account.

We endeavor to protect the privacy of your account and other personal information we hold in our records, but unfortunately, we cannot guarantee complete security. Unauthorized entry or use, hardware or software failure and other factors may compromise the security of user information at any time. We encrypt using a 256-bit standard with VeriSign and SOC 2 compliance. Network penetration tests are performed regularly with third-party code reviews. Users do not need to register to use TradeIt’s technology and users’ brokerage credentials and account information are never stored on our servers or sold to third-parties. What Personal Information can I access?

TradeIt respects your control over your information that we have collected from you. You also have the right to amend or update inaccurate or incomplete Personal Information, request deletion of your Personal Information, or request that we no longer use it. Under certain circumstances we will not be able to fulfill your request, such as if it interferes with our regulatory obligations, affects legal matters, we cannot verify your identity, or it involves disproportionate cost or effort, but in any event we will respond to your request to access within a reasonable timeframe and provide you an explanation. What choices do I have?

Upon request TradeIt will provide you with information about whether we hold any of your personal information. You can opt not to disclose personal information to us but keep in mind this information may be needed to use the Services and/or take advantage of certain features. You may choose to stop using the Services at any time. We will retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you services. We will retain and use your information as necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, prevent fraud, enforce our agreements and enforce our Terms of Service. We may also continue to use aggregate data derived from your activity or by incorporating your personal information after you stop using the Services, but not in a manner that would identify you personally.

Social Media Widgets

Our website includes social media features, such as the Facebook and Twitter buttons, plug- ins, widgets or other interactive mini-programs that run on our website. These features may recognize you and collect your IP address, your browser information, browsing history, and other data. They may also set cookies to enable the feature to function properly. These features are either hosted by a third party or hosted directly on our website. Who can use the Service?

As noted in the Terms of Use we do not knowingly collect or solicit personal information from anyone under the age of 13. What is the Information Related to the Data Collected through the TradeIt API Service?

Information Related to Data Collected for our Clients:

TradeIt collects information under the direction of its Clients, and has no direct relationship with the individuals whose Personal Information it processes. If you are a customer of one of our Clients and would no longer like to be contacted by one of our Clients that use our service, please contact the Client that you interact with directly.  We may transfer Personal Information to companies that help us provide our Services. Transfers to subsequent third parties are covered by the service agreements with our Clients.

Access and Retention of Data Controlled by our Clients:

We acknowledge that you have the right to access your Personal Information. TradeIt has no direct relationship with the individuals whose Personal Information it processes. An individual who seeks access, or who seeks to correct, amend, or delete inaccurate data should direct his query to TradeIt’s Client (the data controller). If requested to remove data we will respond within a reasonable timeframe.

We will retain Personal Information we process on behalf of our Clients for as long as needed to provide services to our Client. TradeIt will retain this Personal Information as necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.

Will TradeIt ever change this Privacy Policy?

We're constantly trying to improve our Services, so we may need to revise this policy from time to time. We will alert you to changes including material changes by placing a notice on, by sending you an email, and/or by some other means. Please note that even if you've opted not to receive emails from us (or if you haven't provided us with your email address), those notices will still govern your use of the Services and you are still responsible for reading and understanding them.
